History
Maa Durga Mandir was founded in the late 20th century by a dedicated group of Indian immigrants who wanted to establish a sacred space to worship Maa Durga and preserve Sanatan Dharma traditions in the USA.
The temple enshrines Maa Durga as the Supreme Mother, often depicted in Her Mahishasura Mardini form, symbolizing the triumph of divine power over evil. Over time, the temple has grown into a center for cultural and spiritual activities, hosting Navratri, Durga Puja, Diwali, and Kali Puja with grandeur.
In addition to daily rituals, the temple organizes Vedic chanting, bhajans, youth programs, and charitable initiatives, strengthening its role as both a religious and cultural landmark.
